Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni arrived in Nairobi, Kenya, on Wednesday for a three-day state visit. Museveni was welcomed by Kenyan Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, Musalia Mudavadi. He is set to hold bilateral talks with Kenyan President William Ruto in Nairobi on Thursday.

This visit comes after the second session of the Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC) between Kenya and Uganda, where seven memoranda of understanding (MoUs) were signed covering public service management, education, SME development, sports, youth, trade, and investment.

The Kenyan Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs stated that both countries are committed to the swift and full implementation of decisions made during previous bilateral meetings. ■
