Baryomunsi, also serving as the government spokesperson, points to Speaker of Parliament Anita Among’s remarks, where she implicated ministers in spreading rumors and engaging in frivolous discussions during cabinet meetings, suggesting that she herself may have been involved in spreading unfounded rumors.

This scrutiny follows the recent leak of presidential correspondence, with State House disavowing one such document as “forged.”

“We are investigating this practice, and I strongly denounce it as inappropriate. Therefore, we are pursuing leads to determine whether ministers, civil servants, or any other individuals are accountable for these leaks,” stated Baryomunsi.

He additionally implored the public to refrain from participating in such behavior and to verify all information before disseminating it further.
