Dei Biopharma Limited got a special license from the National Drug Authority (NDA). This license lets them make medicines at their place in Matugga. It’s a big deal for the company because now they can make important drugs like Hard Gelatin Capsules and Tablets. The NDA gave them two certificates. One says their place is good for making drugs, and the other says they can actually make the drugs.

Dr. Matthias Magoola, who started the company, thanked President Museveni for helping Ugandan scientists. This help led to the company’s success, including building Africa’s first biotech facility.

The company’s big facility is set to make lots of important drugs, like vaccines, cancer treatments, and other medicines. They’ve already spent a lot of money on it, and when it’s done, it will cost even more.

Their facility is top-notch and meets the standards of big organizations like the FDA, EU-EMA, and WHO. This means they can make really good drugs and vaccines.

They have different sections in their facility for making different kinds of drugs and doing research. They’re working on finishing some parts, like a place for making cancer drugs and another for making vaccines. These sections will be done soon.
