In a statement, Next Media Services’ Head of Corporate Affairs confirms being attacked by thugs after leaving the Namboole test games, resulting in eye injury requiring surgery.

When Namboole National Stadium reopened for UPL games between Bull Vs Vipers and KCCA Vs Villa on 1st May 2024, chaos ensued, leading to property loss and assaults.

The victim, an employee of Next Media, fell prey to the thugs, who beat him up while leaving the venue.

He recounts being rescued by good samaritans who took him to the hospital, where he underwent surgery. He is currently recovering.

Confirming recent events, the victim acknowledges the attack and surgery, expressing gratitude for the support received during his recovery journey.
