Ugandan Artiste Bright D Collaborates with Beenie Man and Wizkid on New Song

Ugandan artist Bright Muzei, based in Switzerland and the United States, has teamed up with Jamaican sensation Beenie Man and Nigerian icon Wizkid for a track featured on his latest album, “Taste of Diamond.”

The collaboration, titled “Killing Me Slowly,” marks a rare feat as Muzei managed to secure both artists for the project. Bright D shared that he initially met Wizkid in the studio and played him the demo, which Wizkid enjoyed and was eager to contribute to.

Not only did Muzei succeed in enlisting one of dancehall’s greatest artists for the song, but he also completed his album in Jamaica. Muzei disclosed that “Killing Me Slowly” is not the only collaboration he did with Wizkid, revealing that he recorded four tracks with the Nigerian superstar.

Bright Muzei, a 25-year-old musician born in Uganda, moved to Switzerland and the United States in 2003. Inspired by his mother and IB Steady, Muzei’s latest album, “Taste Of Diamond,” features tracks like “Alright Alright,” “Cellular,” “Becky,” “Show Me Some,” “Ghostin,” and “New Year Glow,” among others.
